Poem: A school year most strange has come to an end, And it’s hard to imagine what lies around the bend. Your UTD education has been cut short, The COVID bug has forced a commencement abort. You deserve a convocation and this poem cannot your pain assuage, Your hard work of a degree but no walk across the stage. We know that life happens in often mysterious ways, It’s hard to give advice, but especially these days. Even though you’ve graduated, there’s something we hope you will do: Don’t look at someone else’s page, they’re not taking the same test as you.
